Can anyone tell me how to add rooms of my house in miniature?
I inherited a Doll House Victorian Style is quite impressive together, but do not have rooms or interior stairs. can be purchased separately from the walls? How I can insert? Should I use wood glue? Is there rooms can be inserted completely?
I have been collecting and Doll Houses and miniatures have been doing for decades, but I've never seen pre-cut inserts. You can buy wood similar to the wood is made from the house and cut to fit inside. Do you know someone who is practical tools that could see the royal house and do some measurements? Once you have the wood cut to size, start hitting the wall on the first floor (or walls) instead. (Use a good glue made for wood) Once those are completely dry, then you can put on a second floor to put glue on the top of the walls and inside the house touches the floor. You have to keep these pieces in place until they are completely dry and that will move and slide. When dry, add some more glue to be sure. Remove excess glue with a paper towel. Then you can start adding the second floor walls. If you have a store near you in miniature, could bring it there and ask for help, or may be able to do for you, or know someone who can. I do not know what they charge for this service, but no harm asking for advice.
