How I can get more light in a basement apartment?
I live in a basement apartment, with few and small windows. No too many lights already there. Is there a way to make rooms seem brighter? I do not want lamplight look because I want walls vibrant colors and furniture, and do not want to be all washed out. Any advice? Color schemes? Something?!
Like most of the responses and used bright colors on the walls and the use of brighter bulbs. The use of mirrors can sometimes help but not on top of them because they can be very sticky. Another thing to look at is the size of your furniture and how much of it you have. You should only keep essential furniture and the layout of your furniture.
