I am looking for two porcelain dolls my grandmother in the late 70s early 80s?
There were two girls, one had a blue dress with flowers the other with a purple floral dress. They had hats and corsets, underneath her body were of cloth and shoes that had black porcelain They are different from the Victorian porcelain doll style than others I've seen in the white porcelain is not colored at all, and their faces are thinner and bodies are longer. They are not standing. My grandmother always ordered Limited Edition items and I'm thinking these dolls came from Readers Digest. Anyway, sorry not have mine, and it was lost after I left home and I am looking desperately for something similar for my daughter. By the way the clothes were of cloth, dull and all the hats were of the same material. There was a blonde and a brunette who were sisters and I think even had a name. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please tell me where I can find them. Has mental image, that's the best I can do.
