how much would a 100 year old tea set be worth?
The tea set is over 100 years old, maybe 150 years old. It has been passed down from grandma to grand daughter over the years and i was just curious what its worth could be around. The tea set is nearly see through and Hand Painted only one Tea Cup is chipped and it came from england.
It all depends.
Antiques markets fluctuate wildly based on who wants what right now.
Sometimes something looks wonderful, but nobody wants it right now and it’s worth very little. Other times, there’s a run on something that you have and the sale prices go through the roof for a month or so, even on ordinary specimens.
If you really want to know, I’d get it appraised by a dealer.
