What happened with my pot?
I was boiling water for tea and forgot about it. After freaking out for a second, I took the pot and put it under cold water. The fully cracked glass lid perhaps by the immediate change in temperature? This must be one of the most stupid I've been in situations there is a horrible burning smell floating around, so I'm sure the finish or something has evaporated. I'm not so worried about the brightness, but How I can clean the odd evaporated? Are there unusual toxins in the air now? Is it safe to reuse my pot?
I doubt it would hurt you, but I still single dish from the tray. Good excuse to go buy a new one. Joe
