Socks Clothes
What to do with ripped / stained clothes and other fabrics?

I have a big garbage bag of clothes and socks that would be of no use to donate because they are very roughly. Is there a place that could have textile recycling?

Here is a site that can give some textile recycling information. I did some research for you:) Http: / / www.textilerecycle.org/ To find out where you can go in your recycling area textile go to the link below and search business "box", to "textile recycling" and the second box, put your city and state. You will be shown some places you can go in your town or city. http://www.hellolocal.com Also, if you are in painting at all, you can cut the fabric into squares and use it to clean the brush instead of using paper towels. Its super environmentally friendly because they do not waste paper. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Baby Clothes – How do they make them last longer

Getting new clothes constantly baby is an expensive habit. Babies grow so quickly it is difficult to keep up with them sometimes. You need to cut the habit of spending down, but your baby needs clothes. It's a dilemma many parents face. You have to get the most out of baby clothes you already have.

You can start by buying a Sewing Machine. This need not be fancy. It has to do a little hemming and sewing and has everything you need to turn your baby's old clothes into new clothes designer.

Let's start with the jeans. This is easy, because just think of what you did with your old jeans. If your baby is getting too high, just cut the legs and make shorts them. This is simple and easy and requires nothing more than a pair of scissors. You can also leave the bottom seam of the pants to do a little more time. If this does not work, you can add stuff to the bottom of the pants or skirts using the sewing machine.

Onesies are good elements to convert. Once snaps stop reaching each other, usually means goodbye for one piece and the next size. Not so fast. Remove trust scissors and cut again Part of the leg one piece. You have a brand new shirt for you baby and not have to buy lots of summer clothes. The bottom of the shirt can be rolled up and hang freely in the baby. No need to worry about loose chains because the material remains intact as well.

If a monkey or other clothing is kind of clicking or being small, sew a few buttons to make the stretch of the clothes a little. In this way you could probably get another few months of clothing.

When buying socks, stick to solid colors. White works well because if you lose the right sock (on the left always loses), you will still be able using the right sock. No need to throw a pair of socks away because you can not find one. Also buy socks that do not have built-in the heel. This will cause the sock to grow with your baby's foot for some time before you have to get one that fits perfectly.

Even one's shoes have a way to stay a little longer than they were intended. If your baby's shoes or sneakers, once you start getting tight, you can cut from the back of the shoe a mule. This will not work well with babies learn to walk, and that may be encountered in the shoe. However, for your baby that remains nestled in the stroller, mules will be adorable.

In the end, once those clothes do not fit more, you can either save them for another child, the hand down to a relative, or give them to charity. However, there are other practical uses. You can also use old onesies or T-shirts and turn them in rags.
