What should I write about in my new notebook?
I love sanrio characters and their notebooks.
(I love how every sanrio notebook has designed/colored pages)
The notebook was really cheap but I don’t actually need it for anything in particular.
I want to write something in it. I was thinking a dream journal (like Casey’s Dream Diary from “Life With Derek”) but I’d be wayyyy to tired in the morning and would forget the details by the afternoon.
So…
I don’t want it to be a diary
I don’t want to right songs (I suck at songwriting), stories, or poetry (I hate poetry)
I don’t want to draw or doodle in it
I don’t want to put trivia in it or words/definitions in it (that’s why I have a dictionary)
(If you suggest these then you did not take the initiative to read the details)
Dream journals are pretty hard to keep up with because they tend to be too sparatic. this may sound weird but have you thought of a list of your idiosyncrasies its kinda like quirky things you like or dislike that make you feel certain emotions for example in mine i have a very large list going…. i.e.
Things I Hate
When the trash bag falls in
when my jacket zipper gets stuck
when my sock falls into my shoe past my heal
toilets with delayed flushes
etc.
Things I Like
taking pictures of my feet
sanding wood
licking stamps
jumping in puddles
masking tape
etc.
