Refrigerator Fridge
KitchenAid refrigerator is not cooling the refrigerator freezer top, but it works well?

KitchenAid my refrigerator is not cooling but the freezer runs smoothly. my model is kbfa25erss01. what could be the cause? a tech came out and quoted to replace the evap fan motor but the fan is working find. I'm confused.

Last week I had the same model number as the same problem. Once you remove the back cover the freezer section of the fan was not decisive. However, I did manually turn and started working. But once I stopped the fan would not start again. I changed the evap engines in these models than I can count. It can be a hit and miss with these models. The good news is that KitchenAid has released a revised and fan I have never had to return once I changed the engine. In a rare occasion of registration could not be opened. To check the damper, open the freezer and hold switch of light. Now, just hold your hand through the bars on the back wall of the freezer at the top. If you feel cold air blowing out then your fan evap working properly. Now close and open the freezer next to the ref. Again, hold the light switch and hold your hand through the bars on the back wall of the top. If you do not feel the air coming out then your shock is the problem.
