What is the best type of paint used in plastic toys (Barbie Doll)?
What kind of paint is more permanent for painting plastic as Barbie dolls? Do you need a top coat to seal it?
I am an artist dolls. My one Doll Barbie has been a kind in October 2004 issue of Barbie Bazaar, and my Obitsu dolls are on the covers of the "pretty little liars" series of books. You have to use acrylic paint. Using oil paints will cause the vinyl to deteriorate over time, and the use of any type of enamel (Including spray) will only cause bad taste because the paint does not dry. Many artists agree that the wrist and most paints are easier to use the best Golden Acrylic Fluid, and then you also want to use a very small brush (I like the miniature brushes Loew Cornielle in size 18 / 0). Remember, always thin the paint before paint your wrist. Five or six thin coats is much better than one thick layer, Goopy, but more time to paint in layers. You go to a factory look, and as such, no want to display any brush strokes. Gold Liquitex and make some very nice sealants. You want to use a matte sealer for eye shadow, and you want to use a gloss sealer for eyes. The lips may be sealed in matte, satin or polished, whichever you prefer.
