What is the safest way to prepare a piece of wood for an aquarium?
I have a nice looking piece of wood and i would like to soak it. Does anyone know the safest way i can do it?
You do not want to place wood in an aquarium. It will decay and foul the water.
Go to Smoothon.com and get some mold making material called Oomoo and make a mold. Cast the mold in poly resin. Use acrylic paint and paint the model to look like the wood. You can cast fishing weights into the bottom so that it will sink.
