Best dog Food. your thoughts (UK)?
I’m getting a miniature poodle puppy in a couple of weeks, and am doing lots of research onto the best dog food for him. We don’t care about expenses, just so long as its best for the dog.
My Best Friend recommends ‘James Wellbeloved’, she uses it for her Westie
But I’ve heard since it was taken over by a larger pet food chain, its decreased in quality?
I also have heard of a new dog food, in my local Pet Shop, which the pet store owner was raving about. It looks pretty good from the ingredients list.
There’s also Orijen, but I wasn’t sure about the protein content being too high..?
Any other suggestions of dogs foods in the UK?
I don’t want huge mass brands, all the food in supermarkets is AWFUL for dogs.

James Wellbeloved is an excellent choice for dog food in the UK. Other’s to look into include: Arden Grange and Fish4dogs.
EDIT: The Barking Heads looks to be a great choice, too.
