Boot Camp for New Dads Tips Actions to celebrate Father's Day
"Most parents believe that the less complicated the better. The boys are not really interested in spending a lot of money on Father's Day in general, so often, they choose the activities that are outdoors and free, " said the bishop.
Parents across the country have shared their ideas to celebrate Father's Day:
-
Enjoy a baseball minor league game.
-
No need for the clubs or a golf cart – miniature golf go.
-
Light the grill and give Dad the knife – a cookout favorite dishes of all kinds is the father.
-
Play Wiffle ball or receives a football game going back yard.
-
Plan a picnic in the park or the beach. Be sure to bring baseball gloves and ball, frisbee or football.
-
Take a family bike ride around the neighborhood or head for the nearest state park or trail.
-
Pack the equipment, some special snacks and hiking.
-
Go to the nearby river or lake and go canoeing or kayaking. Or, view the ships "great" while strolling the shoreline to the sea and enjoy an Ice Cream.
-
Go bananas? As for the monkeys and other exhibits at your local zoo.
-
Having a party pizza – Order or get together and make from scratch. Follow up with (age appropriate) games charades, Monopoly, Go Fish, etc.
-
See a show. It could be the last film in theaters or concert or a car, boat or show monster truck – irrespective father enjoys.
The bishop continued: "The gifts are nice, but just spending time together as a family is what many parents want the Father's Day. "
