Why are flowers in my calamondins miniature tree fall so quickly?
Hello, I bought a tree calamondins little. There are some fruits that are still in the orange now, but a couple of weeks, I realized the other side of the tree that some flower buds were emerging. Some of them opened only for a few days before wither and die and some of them never opened and drained. Why did they die so quickly?
hi you did not mention all the details … so I'm going to assume some of the scenarios and then try to help … first, was planted in a pot or was planted in earth … one of the reasons for what happened may be that the soil in the pot may have dried up …. if dry even for a few hours, the flowers wither … or change the position or pot of …? Sometimes when moving pots, plants lose some foliage and flowers / fruit until adequate for the new place … then begin to flourish again … and finally you fertilize? if u use a water-based fertilizer, the plant may have exceeded fertilized … As it happens with solid fertilizers and … ends when fertilized, and burn the roots and the plant suffers …. my advice is to always use a bit less fertilizer than recommended on the table .. also check Error … new buds love bugs so that it may be just the flowers and ur lost and not the fruit ….
