Exploring the West Coast Dolls House and Miniature Show
If you are new to collecting miniatures or you're an old pro ready to learn more about the persecution, West Coast Dolls House and Miniatures Show is the place to go. Held annually in Langley, British Columbia, the show brings together miniaturists from across Canada and beyond the second Sunday in June.
Set as a matter of two days, the program is designed not only to give collectors a place to buy, but also to teach them the ropes. The first day of the fair is reserved to a series of workshops. The second is devoted to the exhibition and sale. During the presentation and sale, collectors can come and buy all thumbnails on many scales to help them complete their own collections. If collectors want to learn how to do things themselves, the seminar series is worth watching. During the series, collectors can choose to attend a series of classes that teach them how to deal with different projects related to the miniature "clean."
The series of workshops each year varies, but the dollhouse enthusiasts who plan to attend the event can expect to learn something like:
How to create Your Own animals from felt – for collectors who want a touch of realism serious Doll Houses know that family pets and other animals are a necessity. The instructors at the show can teach others how to Make Your own miniature felt, including dogs, raccoons, cats and more.
