Found a partner. online selling lotus flowers, but in Australia. Plants can go through customs and delivered to the U.S.?
I have a new-found passion for miniature (container) of lotus plants and just found a great source for them (The Blue Lotus Water Garden). Unfortunately, the small employer is in Australia and, according to the owner e-mail to me, that has never sent any U.S. plants before. He is willing, however. He wants me to know what the rules are. Our local post office was not helpful. They could only tell me what the rules are for submitting articles outside our country. Does anyone have suggestions? Perhaps another source for miniature lotus plants? Miniatures are not offered on eBay – at least I've never seen. What Some nurseries are referred to as "miniatures" are actually dwarf versions (if you read the description). I would much rather small so the absolute I can, literally, grow one in a container on a table.
See if you can find a source of water suppliers of the plant property – would surely have popular models in a flower like that. good luck
