Miniature Blue
What are some good tips on preparing my dog?
Breed: Miniature Australian Shepherd Gender: Female Color: Blue Merle Age: 10 months How often should I bathe? What kind of brushes should I use? And please, advice!
In general, dogs need to be bathed only once or twice a month. If you bathe them too often is not good for their fur or skin. Your skin may become more sensitive and not very good for his coat. However, some breeds can be bathed every few weeks, including Toy Poodle, etc. Taking into account the breed of your dog, I'd say probably twice a month. Personally, I do not bathe my dogs during the colder months – fall and winter. Depends, however, because some people bathe their dogs in the interior (small breeds or puppies) and others have to wash their dogs out (large breed dogs). You could probably get away with bathing your dog in the bathtub, but many people prefer to bathe the dogs out because sometimes, with some dogs are like dogs inside bathroom can lead to a lot of cleaning. You have to train your dog to behave in the bathtub. My dogs seem to be well going into the fall and winter, no bathrooms, but all dogs are different. In the spring usually in need desperate for a bathroom, however. For brushes, I think one of those brushes pin would be fine and maybe a comb to remove tangles. And for other tips, I am not totally insurance. From what I think, you can just brush Mini Aussie as any other race, as their coats are not too long. Their coats are usually silky and long term in some places, such as the ears and around the boundary face, abdomen, back of the legs and chest. They are not very high maintenance dogs when it comes to preparation. But only a couple advice about them … are very energetic dogs and require moderate daily exercise such as a 45-minute walks or two every day! And if you're looking for something fun to do with a Mini Aussie, take a Frisbee – these dogs are natural! Usually very friendly dogs out that are very intelligent and eager to please – can learn many, many moves with ease. If I were to compare these playful puppies to any other race, which is very much like a Border Collie – Smart anxious that Please, super friendly and energetic! Of course, they are a miniature version of the Australian Shepherd, but I think, are more like the Border Collie, except, of course, shorter. I hope that helped you out – good luck with your new Best Friend!
