Dolls House Furniture: a new 7-piece bathroom Our Dollhouse
A dollhouse is not just a doll's house – is a whole new world for girls lucky enough to get their own house very special. I have one as a young sixties and now my granddaughter is old enough for their own dolls house I'm back to see this world so special.
It's just the same – built furniture that is really scale very large scale. I've never seen one that can fit all dollhouse furniture in the room that is supposed to live comfortably. I guess that's part of the charm of a dollhouse.
It took quite a pleasant time to choose but we bought a beautiful wood and porcelain bathroom set 7 piece last week with Beth's birthday money. Bath, shower, toilet, set drawers, towel rail, mirror and sink, looked great even though they were in Beth's favorite color is pink. When the bathroom walls are green Beth has decided we have to redecorate soon.
We got home in the city and got down to the serious business of furnishing the bathroom and no matter what we did we could not fit all the furniture in. After several unsuccessful attempts we decided to put the shower in the Master Bedroom. Beth was not happy with that, said the bed was wet and Daddy doll not be able to get out of bed on their own side.
She had not noticed that doll dad was too big for the bed and I was not about to break that bubble!
I suggested we leave out of the bathroom, have a modern bathroom with a shower only. Beth said he could not do that because it would be absolute dolls that children play with their boats and ducks. I saw his point if the house of dolls and toys in the world is real, but you can not stop humor 6 years old girls.
The next idea we had was to leave out the drawers. I was surprised I had not thought about it, first being the idea more logical. Beth had the drawers and rearranged the rest of the furniture until she was satisfied with the result. The bathroom looked good, everything I needed were the finishing touches on the carpet, bath mat, towels and I knew exactly where I could get those.
Beth I left playing with the system Drawer – She was surprised by the opening of drawers like the real world, but she was struggling to get something to fit in drawers, despite trying most of Doll Clothes.
I logged into my computer and found a website that had printed Dollhouse Accessories. It was not long before finding a carpet of pink and gray color that is printed on the fabric. Then issued a pink carpet fabric and cut down to make a bath mat. I had a great idea and printed another carpet of pink and gray with a little elastic thread made a pair of matching curtains. I was able to fashion a couple of towels from leftover bits of pink carpet and is not so bad.
I went back to where Beth was playing with and found Beth dollshouse happy talking to their wrists as he moved around his home.
"Oh," I said "Why did you put back in the drawers and sink in the bathroom? "
"There was no place to put towels" Beth said that logically it.
I smiled to myself as we added new soft furnishings. It did not matter to six years old, Beth did not fit the furniture was not happier to have your new Furniture Doll house to play on Your Own little world.
