How to properly clean a marble table?
I have a marble table and has water marks on glasses and other marks everywhere. I bought Special cleaner for granite countertops, but not doing anything. Do I need special enamel? No matter how hard you scrub these marks will not disappear? Please let me know any ideas you may have. Thank you.
I have the same problem with my marble coffee table top. The problem is that it was not sealed properly. All I can suggest is to remove the marks as best you can and seal the marble before further damage. I used a Mr.MagicEraser on my table and removed some stains, but not all. Good luck.
Marble End Tables – They have timeless beauty
When it comes to furniture, marble is an elegant and seductive material. But even the best marble tables can finally begin to look a little dirty and worn out if not maintained properly.
Given the price of a good piece of fine marble, is a wonder why people do not take charge of it. Possibly, they just do not know how to properly maintain marble. In this article we will take that excuse out of the mix. This is what you need to know about caring for its fine marble.
We are focusing on the final marble tables because of all the pieces of marble will have in the house you're probably going to get the most use. Someone will be constantly picking up things, setting things down, and crashing them. That's just life tables.
When you first get marble end tables, you'll love that shiny and perfect finish. Keeping that way the will not be easy. While it looks "hard as a rock, marble is actually a very soft and porous stone. If you are going to pour drinks or food on their tables, marble end, we must drop everything and clean it up. Leaving spills on the surface of marble will stain like fluid in sinks and wood would be. It is best not to let the liquid touch the surface of marble, so offer a coaster for drinks on customers, to prevent condensation starting to sink in, and discolored the marble surface.
The key to keeping your marble that looks new is possible preventive maintenance. Make sure you are in a regular cleaning program. While you do not want to allow the water to soak in a marble surface is While washing the marble end tables. You should use water at room temperature, and dry immediately. If you have a little dirt build up and want to make sure you get completely clean, you can use a mild detergent soap to wash that goes over the surface, then rinse and dry immediately. You should only do this a couple of times each years, at most, so make sure you need it.
Some people choose to wax their final marble tables. This will depend on what kind you have. If you have white checkered marble end, you may not want to do this as some waxes can have an effect on the marble yellow. Instead, it is possible you want to use a sealer made of marble that will wear a protective layer of everyday life.
Over time, your marble will scratch and begin to lose its luster. You can recover. If you have large scratches, you may need a putty dust "revival" marble. If you do not feel comfortable doing yourself any company that works in marble, including companies in the stone, you can probably do this for you. You can also search for a company to buy marble and marble cleaner and polish.
