Livingroom Set
How do you repair little holes in leather furniture?

My parents just got a brand new set of dark brown leather furniture and this morning she walked into her livingroom and saw that one of my sisters cats had tried to jump up onto the couch and left puncture holes and some scratches from her claws in the leather.

What is the best way to repair or disguise these scratches and holes in my parents leather couch?

Leather furniture does not do well with cat claws. Got this question a lot and short of taking it in for a professional to work on it, here’s something to try: Go to a hardware store HD, Lowes, etc. look for those crayon type things used to fill nail holes in wood trim. Buy the color closest to the sofa color, or several to take home to do a best match in the room light. Warm up the end of the color stick and apply to the leather, spot by spot. If you try to do a big area, it will show. Warm a butterknife and use the blade to mash the warm wax into the hole. Wait for it to cool and rub with a clean lint free cloth. This will conceal but not repair. Might get you out of a spot. Declaw that cat asap.
