what can i look for in buying a living Room Set?
i want to purchase a very nice living room set, but i’m not sure what to look for in quality for couches, that’s the main thing i want purchase very comfortable couches that will last long. Any recommendations
My money’s on leather upholstery. You can get leather seating surfaces with vinyl on other surfaces that matches. That brings the price down. It’s fairly easy to clean and doesn’t wear like fabric does. Take the measurements of your room with you when you go so you don’t buy something that won’t fit. Comfortable, to me, means good back support and semi-soft seating. Sit in the floor models and put your hands on the arms to see if they’re too high or low for you. Measure how high the back is and you’ll have an idea if you can see over it from another area, like from the kitchen into a Family Room. Try to keep an open mind. If your room is small, a Love Seat might work better than a full size sofa. You might not have room for a recliner. More expensive doesn’t necessarily mean better. We’ve found great bargains in large furniture stores and warehouse furniture outlets alike. Most of all, don’t drive yourself crazy. Talk about what you want and then look for that and don’t get distracted by everything in the store.
