Does anyone know where i can get a pattern for a knitted bag made from recycled carrier bags?
I know it sounds strange but they look really funky! I have got loads of carrier bags and thought this would be a good way to recycle them but I cannot find a pattern anywhere.

I knitted it and everyone commented on it, it was easy and suitable for a beginner but I did need quite alot of bags. As well as the pattern on this site are very good instuctions on how to cut up the carrier bags so that each bag makes one ball of yarn (ie one bag makes one continuous strip)
I know the bags are biodegradeable but I’ve had no problems so far, you actually knit the plastic bag strips in combination with a double knitting yarn.
