How can I unclog a kitchen sink?
I have been having problems with my kitchen sink being clogged. I have used Draino,plunged it and all. Nothing seems to be working. The whole sink fills up to the top with water withen a few minutes. I have also tried to take off the pipe at the bottom.Anyone have any suggestions on how I can unclog it? Thanks!

Okay, got that out of my system.
First do you have a P-trap (going through the wall) or a S-trap, (going through the floor)? S-traps are notorious for getting things stuck in the upper bend, once when I took one apart, I found a piece of concrete plugging the pipe. Apparently, when the guys was setting his tile inside the bathroom, he used his kitchen sink to clean his tools and the grout got caught, dried out, and became a clog. So, the first thing you should do is take apart your traps and clean them.
Second. How old of house do you have? I ask this for two reasons, older houses have iron pipes for drains. The reason this is bad is because iron will rust and collect things and clog on their own. The only real cure for this is to re-plumb with plastic though, you can buy time snaking the drains. There is also an enzyme solution that will keep your pipes clear, but again you’re just buying time.
Also, if your house is old, the house may have settled where things don’t run downhill like they should, that is, your sink water may have to travel uphill, though not very likely by your brief description, what is more likely if your house settled is a pipe that is pinched.
Third. Good old landscaping. It’s possible that you have a grey water system where your sink empties into a seperate sump or even directly into a garden. There could be roots in them pipes. A good snaking with a power snaker should chew it’s way through, however, be sure to keep the roots out with a product designed for killing roots.
