How I can move my miniature roses?
I just moved into a new house and the woman who lived here before me planted several mini roses in the backyard along the fence line that I would move to a different place, but I'm not sure what to do. I live in southeast Louisiana, scrub are each a foot high, with a few long stems. It seems they are climbers and have not yet flowered. I want to move to the front of the house so you can save the bricks. This area is shaded in the morning and in full sun as the day progresses. Any tips on preparing the new bed as well as how to actually get to scale the wall would be useful too!
Before moving any plant of this nature make sure you will get the same sun and the water allowed them to survive. If the plant has already climbed a fence is not a climbing rose planting. Mini-roses do not climb. Visit your garden center and purchase both triells and climbing roses. They will give good advice, given the content of the soil and the needs of your bed. Miniature Rose Growing tips
Growing miniature roses is a wonderful alternative to the extension varieties of roses, because doing so well in both indoor and outdoor, flower when grown in pots, and require less maintenance than other types rose. Miniature roses come in a wide range of shapes and colors, so to be sure it is a miniature rose that will appeal available.
Before choosing a particular thumbnail, rose plant for your home or in the yard, decide where to put it.
