I have a shelf full size wood above the red brick chimney, which put in place?
I have a reddish color, cranberry, white border with sage green on the bottom with a small amount of black in the bottom of the border. the walls are wheat, camel sofa, chair and tables red, green, pink, yellow, orange sounds bad i know is good. my floor is walnut colored laminate. Now I have a picture of a White Flower with green around only flower background image is like a curtain crannberry mats, Dark Green with black frame queer. I'm so lost as to what to do, trying to decide for 2 years sad I know!. tried anyway big green clock, tried three black mirrors. my house is a division and get into my kitchen, Family Room is the first thing seen fireplace in the main focal point, so I wanted something with a wow! I'm a loser with the decor. ps. Thanks so much denise
I had the same problem years. A fireplace is really a focal point for a room. He had a beautiful collection of large seahells at any given time. I also had a collection of crystal chandeliers. Now I finally got what he wanted. I have a large Oil Painting hanging on the wall of the chimney and only a series of four candles in focus below it ight image at night. It looks clean, well located and is a definite eye catcher. I think a good piece of art really accents a fireplace. I definitely feel less is more when decorating a fireplace.
