who has a dollshouse?
hi im just wondering how many of you have a dolls house (not a childs dolls house …a clollectors house) my mum could never afford to buy me a dolls house as a child, which would have been very expensive anyway but i have 3 more sisters so money was tight for her bringing us up alone . i longed for a fancy dollshouse of my own…a few months back i won some momey at bingo, this was the very first time i had played bingo.. anyway i went out to buy my own dollshouse, in fact it was made to order, i love it , now its my hobby as a miniaturist, i love making my own things for it..does anybody have any tips for making things for it, just every day things hanging about the house. i would welcome any ideas you may have thankyou
use doilies as area rugs
thimbles (depending on size) can be cups or waste baskets
the little white plastic stopper that comes with pizza looks like a tiny table
potpourri frillies can be pillows
make Your Own broom with a stick and pine needles
the little cardboard box that jewerly comes in can be a bed, table, Coffee Table, or couch(especially with the cottony lining)

When I was a kid, my biggest dream was to have my own house wrists. I knew exactly what I wanted too. I had to open so he could place the furniture in the house of dolls from all over the body and move around at will and I had to have a gateway running.
