I am looking for someone who can make a dollhouse replica of my house.?
My parents will soon be moving from the house they raised four children in All we are sad to lose the house, and I thought if we could have a miniature version can help you lose less. All information dollhouse I've found is based on patterns. I am looking for someone who can make a replica of the house.
The first thing to do would be to obtain reasonable measurements Exact inside the house and some photos of the exterior – the four sides if possible. I am an architect near retirement and would be happy to cut the model for you. I made a for my sister years ago and was quite good. It would be up to you to redo the interior to make it "feel" of your old home. I am in the central valley California (Fresno). Could be done through email if you can get the measurements and photos. It would be fun to play with him. Go to a model maker professionals will be costly. Anyway, if I can help let me know. You get the measurements and could at least ry to draw the plan for you. Only there would be a hour or so if the measurements are added OK. If you want to take in getting the measurements, as well as all rooms (both directions) and any doors and windows (width of doors and the width and height of the windows). Try to draw a very basic plan that shows where every room is in relation to others (This does not have to be exact) and gives me the size I ordered. A photo of the walls with doors and windows also help. The photos are very good if you can get. If you take lots of pictures and want to give it a try, just let me know and I'll give you my address and you can send a CD. Rick H.
