How do I darken small area of my hard wood floor?
I accidentally spilled bleach on my hard wood floor and and the color is lightened.
Is that some simple that I can do myself instead of hiring a professinal, it’s a very small spots.
Depending on the quality of the finish on the rest of your floor, I would consider using coffee grinds.
Rub the damp grinds (from the coffee maker – used) onto the spots and then seal with a light coat of polyeurethane (spelling). If the floor does not have a gloss finish, the poly will make it flash, so you may want to consider a similar colored crayon and rub it onto the spots – wax out your entire floor and you may not notice the difference!
