Poetry hand-engraved onto precious metals is how this San Francisco-based jewelry designer creates her collections of emotionally engaging yet subtle hand inscribed jewelry. Take the Alene bracelet, for example. A brushed, Sterling Silver cuff accented with an 18k high polish gold face plate featuring a hand-textured look on both the interior and exterior surfaces. The hand engraving that appears along the 18k gold plate bears Emerson’s immortal lines, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
Jeanine’s simplicity and originality are evident in her pendants, bracelets and earrings, executed in sterling silver and 18 karat gold, all hand inscribed with poetry in a miniature scale and made to be treasured for years to come. How much would you pay someone to make a handcrafted clay base for your miniature? ?
Have you ever spent a lot of time painting a lead or pewter character for a role play game just to stick it on a cheap piece of plastic? You would make a base but just arent that creative? What would you be comfortable paying for a predesigned hand crafted base? Also, if there is a site out there that does this already please let me know. Thank you 
I sell my pottery and depending on the size, the design and the glazing, it could go for $10 (3″ diameter) to $50 — a simple wheel thrown base. If you got really intricate with piercings and/or carving, then the price goes up.
I googled “ceramic base” and didn’t find anything. But below is what I found for wooden sculpture base. Hope this helps.
