Questions about baling wire solid gold?
Hello, I just learn some basic wire and have been doing things with Solver. I would like try to use solid wire 22 or 24 gauge 14k. I had a bit of wire around an old earrings and it is pretty stiff. How I can work with this material? Do I need to be heated for the first time? Are all the gold medals to be heated first. I really can not find any useful information online. Thanks!
The remaining part of that is trying to use has to be heated first. Jewelry containing alloys to be compared to daily use. I suggest you consult with a jewelry repair place or a goldsmith to see what they recommend.
