I’m getting married soon, my colors are turquoise and black, need ideas for floral arrangements?

i’m having 2 different centerpieces one vase will be 10 inch cylinder and the other a hurricane vase but i have no idea on the floral arrangment of bouquets..
for the hurrican vase i was thinking black ribbon with turquoise bow at the top with a round mirror on the bottom and a candle inside so the light would reflect off the morror but what type of flowers should i use to circle the bottom i wanted to include the black and turquoise without spray painting the flowers. what else can i put in the floral arrangement.

To be honest I think I’d stay away from flowers. Black sticks in a vase tied with a turquoise ribbon would be gorgeous in a hurricane glass. Black candles floating on turquoise water. Turquoise marbles scattered around a turquoise candle with a black ribbon. Black taper candles with the turquoise fish bowl pebbles. Spray paint the edge of a mirror black. Turquoise candles around it.

I love the colors personally. I think they are gorgeous. But not many flowers will have that pop of turquoise that will look right. I did an imagine search and none came up.

Most people would pick an accent color. Something you’ll use just a little bit around the reception–like yellow, coral, or pink. Your flowers will be that color. My colors were coral and turquoise but in the reception to make sure everything didn’t look so matchy-matchy, I added touches of lime green and fushia. Just in small amounts like with flowers and napkins. But picking a bright color like that would be easy to have just your flowers in those colors.

What are your bridesmaids going to carry? Black roses are not truly black and plus they look a little “corpse bride”. Dahlias come in a bright blue. It’s not really turquoise but they are expensive and a bit too big for centerpieces. Gerbera daisies can be dyed any color. Anything turquoise though is going to look fake. Personally I’d go with flame tipped calla lillies. I think those would look great with those color combinations.

Good luck!
