Fender Guitar
How much should I sell children's Fender guitar?
I have a small child Fender Squier guitar and I was looking at selling the itself. Its about 7 years old. What woud be a reasonable price to sell? Thanks! Have a lovely day!
Mini just go Squiers 90-100 new males looking these days, and have no value collectibility. If your REAL in good shape cosmetically and functionally, ask for $ 75 and have 50 years if necessary. FYI … you can donate to a charity and deduct it from your taxes if you itemize. You can also make a child underprivilieged happy to go that route. Good luck!

A Brief History of the Fender guitar company
Besides the Gibson Les Paul, probably no more famous Electric Guitar the Fender. The Fender Stratocaster and Fender Telecaster electric company are two most famous and played by "rock gods" throughout the world (the Telecaster is especially favored by modern country and blues musicians, too), Fender, but also makes steel-string guitars and classical and bass guitars.
The Fender company also produces top of the line amplifiers.
Guitar players and officials began experimenting with the amplification of the 1920s because the sound of acoustic guitar in a jazz band was completely flooded by the rest of the band. Finally, in the 1940s, Leo Fender, an electronics expert and inventor of California, created the first instrument amplifiers have built-in tone controls. Without However, Fender also that in order to fit in with modern guitar music would be needed to have a much greater range of tonal colors and pure power. In 1951, Fender may have saved from oblivion the very heard guitar music when he introduced his Fender Broadcaster, which was the forerunner of the Telecaster. In the same year Fender produced Precision Bass guitar.
In 1954, Fender guitar come roll with what would be the most famous rock 'n' in history: the Stratocaster.
Unfortunately, in 1965 Leo Fender was in poor health and sold his company to CBS Corporation. Although CBS was able to put his marketing giant and the advertising budget behind the line of Fender amps and guitars to be the top team of modern guitar music, CBS also did not understand real music and musicians, and in 1973 the quality of the legendary Stratocaster new production was definitely sinking. Today's Fender "Start" collectors and pre-1973 players covet Strats, and further that the prize "pre-CBS" models.
With the onset known for his exquisite tone, range of colors and great action, CBS in 1977, said the five-way pickup selector switch to start, giving the possibility of combining the collection, use and coloring resulting even more tonal variety, with the hope of keeping the commencement of commercial competition.
By the 1980s, CBS / Fender began producing the "Squire" of initiation, which is a deliberate form of second class and less expensive version of the Stratocaster. The squire was in response to price competition of Japanese guitar makers.
In 1981, CBS took steps to try to reinvent Fender. William Schultz was selected as the new President of Fender and he and his assistants had a five-year business designed to focus heavily on R & D and advertising to be Fender back to the height of the guitar world. However, In 1985 CBS was getting out of all non-broadcast media industry and with the help of some investors Schultz bought Fender from the giant corporation.
As no had nothing, but the patent and old Fender guitars in stock, eventually Bill Schultz built two new manufacturing plants Fender in Corona, California and Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. The idea was to keep all manufacturing close to your house to control quality and keep shipping costs down to make more affordable Fender. Defenses not only be done by cheap labor in Japan.
Fender went on to acquire legendary Sunn amplification and Lake Oswego, Oregon manufacturing plants in 1987 and in 1991 the company moved its headquarters from Corona to Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1995 he bought the famous Fender Guild Guitar Company and acquired the manufacturing plant mass Westerly, Rhode Island.
Today Fender is back on top in the world of electric and acoustic guitars, basses and amplifiers. The company has plants in California, Arizona, Tennessee, New York, Rhode Island, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, London, England, Dusseldorf, Germany, Suresnes, France, Brussels, Japan, Korea and China.
