Elegant Sweets Candy
My wedding theme is like a meadow/forest/field of candy, What kind of decor should I have?
My wedding is in june and me and my fiance both wanted to have our personality in the wedding so since we have a gigantic sweet tooth we went with candyland. but we still want it to be an elegant affair. I thought of tree branches with candy and crystals hanging off. but I need more ideas. Oh and we have a candy bar table.
chocolate fountain good idea oh is there a such thing as a carmel fountain
well we are fit and health but we share a sweet tooth so thanks for your inappropriate response but no thanks.
I thank you all for your answers but for those who just want to be smart a__ please pay attention its a candy/forest so far we have red aziatic lilies the colors are burgandy and champagne we have real food being catered and cake already but just to liven up the decor we wanted to put in some of our personality. so there you have it.
That sounds very “sweet”…
Why don’t you do something cute with the centerpieces? You could get floral centerpieces and put in a few colorful lolipops to decorate.
Or, have you seen those wanderfuls? You can make centerpieces out of those…like this one: http://www.wanderfuls.com/bridal2.html
Or, I’ve seen these as well….

You may also want to try this website. It has Candy Centerpieces http://www.awesomeevent.com/mofcart/candy.html

Or, since you have a sweet tooth, you could use cakes for your centerpieces. You can have them nicely decorate in your wedding colors…and that’s always fun for the guests to take home.
I hope that this helps! ![]()
It’s a really cute idea…and there are plenty of ways to make it elegant. Plus, if you are inviting a lot of kids to the wedding it makes it fun for them as well. Good luck!
Wedding Candy – Looking Past the Typical
For a great length of time, bridal couples have been offering wedding favors to the guests of their ceremony as a way to give thanks for attendance. There are thousands of different small gifts that have served as favors, but something sweet to eat is a perennial favorite.
So don’t just provide the same, typical favors; select something special to be given as a wedding favor. If you want favors that will be popular with wedding guests as well as decorate your reception, try sweet colorful candies. Look past regular Jordan almonds and pastel mints for rare candies that will Make Your wedding one of a kind.
Beautiful glass bowls, jars, and vases in different dimensions can complement one another when filled with candy. When you pick your wedding colors, try to find matching candies to put in your containers. If you do not have a preference for any particular color, choose the candy first and then the wedding colors. To add a bit of elegance, attach a matching ribbon to the vessels. Print on business card stock the type of candies that are given to the attendees.
Provide a candy buffet. These wonderful goodies will greatly please your guests. Provide lots of scoops, and encourage people to help themselves. Make these more attractive with matching ribbon made into bows.
One option would be to use Rose Lollipops arranged in a vase. These confections come in bags of 120 and provide a broad color palette that spans the spectrum. The roses are each wrapped individually for appearance and convenience. Chocolate Dutch Mint Balls are also a great choice. These candies have a center of chocolate mint, which are draped in pastel sugar shells of pink, green, and light purple.
Champagne Bubbles candy would also work well in a wedding candy buffet. As you bite through the cream-colored non-pareil seeds, your palate will be delighted with a complex taste of white grape flavored gel. A touch of elegance can be achieved through champagne bubbles, plus they accent any color palette.
Simple but stylishly displays of scrumptious treats can be achieved with simple wedding favors. You might try filling a bag of organza with confections and treats. These are sold at decent prices at craft stores.
Some other options would be chocolate dipped strawberries boxed with complimentary ribbon or foiled chocolate hearts in heart shaped tins. Clear plastic bags of treats can be topped with folded cards designed on a computer and printed with the date and a picture of the wedding couple. The cards can be bound with colored staples or by threading ribbon through holes you punch in the cards; finish the corners with a decorative border.
With a name like Gold Amorini Chocolate Hearts, one gets just what they would expect: elegant chocolate in the shape of a heart covered with an edible coating of radiant gold. Adding a few Gold Pearlescence White Chocolate Jordan Almonds will provide you with a masterpiece of a wedding favor.
You will have no trouble making tasty souvenirs of your special day with so many wonderful options.
