Dolls House Nursery
Toys for a bored 17 months old – help needed!?
She is 17 months old and has mastered the stacking cups, stacking rings and ways to in the correct holes. She is coming to an end with the wooden forms as well. LEGO bricks have wood piles and large it nice and high. She loves you read and we left to go and meet friends. She also goes to daycare while I work part time so you have a varied life. The problem is that is being very bored with his toys now. She has no imagination but to play and stories are so very much to the norms dollhouses, building complex involving toys etc pressing buttons to make sounds and songs very quickly taken away. She has a "my first piano he likes despite which has only limited potential at this time. Any other ideas?! Money is not a problem, if it's worth. She would like something to work, either physically or mentally. Has little toys and a rocking giraffe. Yes, you can walk.
I found a book with lots of ideas child is "The Busy Book for young children "- I can not think of the author, but it is for many the idea of keeping the kids entertained with the simple things that have mostly around the house .. Is active? My son loves when I take the cushions off the couch and let them jump. I guess that is not quite old enough to color, or clay. On a day when we can not go outside, he loves if I may paint with their fingers in the tub. We strip down to her diaper, some paint jets finger on floor of the tub and let it play. Finger paints to make special tub or just use regular. It occupies much of the time, because then you need a bath (Which he also loves). It becomes very slippery, so be sure that she sits on the bottom. On a hot day, packed up a few pots Large water (outside) – add a little food coloring (a different color for each pot), will give some wooden spoons, plastic cups and bowels and let that go for it. He mixes the water to make new colors, which aims to shake, a splash. She loves when I fill 1 / 2 of the Kitchen Sink with warm water and soap, and put some of their bath toys inch used to put him in his chair, and let him finger paint in the tray with chocolate syrup. Messy, but fun. You could try the same thing with whipped cream. My son could not have done this to his age, he was too destructive, but could be ordered. Sometimes when I have to do something, I filled a large bowl (you can also use a large shoe box) with dry macaroni noodles (dried beans or rice will also work). I'll give a little measuring cups, small intestines, spoons, etc., and let him play. Do you have a sandbox? That keeps my son's attention for long periods time. You do not have to spend money to keep them entertained! I found that when I buy my son things, quickly lost interest (no matter how much I think you'll love whatever!), but these simple things that I, who love forever.
