How to make a paper tree in miniature?
I making a dollhouse and I wondered how to make a small tree out the street near the house of Barbie I'm doing. I can make a tissue paper or construction paper? I was also thinking of putting a swing attached to it, but I'm not sure how to swing. Any ideas would help.
If it were me, building a miniature tree. Start taking a shopping bag and go for a ride in a local park. Take a few dead branches / twigs. You do not want the greens, as it decreases as they dry. Wire that had twigs in rap a bumblebee on one end to form the trunk, the other end would be the branches of the tree. At this point, we will need some sort of basis for holding the foot of the tree. Plaster of Paris would be my choice. Not only would the weight of the tree, but could be a few gnarled roots looking for him too. Papier-mache after the plaster is set around the trunk to the branches. At this point, you can add a canopy of leaves. You can buy fake leaves or moss in the craft store if you have deep pockets. A loofah is a good choice, cut into smaller pieces and attached to their branches. Paint everything with brown and green, or whatever you want. By used swing chain costume jewelry that can be connected to one of its branches. The swing seat can be made out of a small Wooden Table, or a couple of pieces paper mache cardboard together, or a credit card cut in half (wrapped in paper mache) … Here is a link in the trees, papier mache.
