The Amish Tradition of Handcrafted Furniture
There is a reason why Amish made furniture is so highly prized and valued by people; especially people with an eye for quality craftsmanship. That reason is the traditional method utilized to make Amish handcrafted furniture. The Amish people are some of very few communities that still adhere to an Old Fashioned way of life, choosing to eschew modern comforts and conveniences and preferring instead to do things the old fashioned way, the way that makes Amish furniture life literally for generations. Hi. My daughter has started a dollhouse, and we were looking on the net for furniture. We found a lot on a website, dollhousecollectables.com. I sent 2 mails with questions about the scale, and we never got an answer. Then I found another site, dollhousecollectibles, with pretty much the same stuff, but some were exactly the same and they were cheaper….(?) I read the part “about us” and it seems that it is the same people running the two shops. How can it be possible?
Before buying, I would like to know if somebody has heard anything strange about this sites, or bought anything from them. I`m afraid it`s a scam….Thanks
I haven’t heard anything about them, but I collect from a uk site. The two sites look ok – why don’t you sign up for their newsletter and see what’s what. One just looks like the ‘outlet’ site, with discontinued items. I noticed that you can pay through Paypal (which is to be recommended if you are buying online anyway).
