Would you say that this analogy make sense?
I am bipolar. My insurance expire in a month, so it can not start any type of medication at this time. Um … I feel like … as depression sets in again, I mean … I feel like an elephant in the room. I feel I'm just happy when I forget. I like living in a dollhouse. And you get used to live there, and all is well … until you look out the window and realize its existence whole is only part of the decoration of the room be a little larger. On the Coffee Table, nothing less. (That's the analogy, by the way) I. .. wonder how I have time before it becomes unbearable. The episodes are intensifying. I had a fit of screams of a week or two. During a "mixed" state. I paranoid. Do not trust anyone. I can not concentrate on things. My thoughts race. I urged myself harm. But what should I do? Without insurance, and without money?
Consult your doctor and find out if there is a Mental Health Mental Retardation (MHMR) program in your area. I lost my insurance when I divorced and paid MHMR for my psychiatric consultation, and my medications and did not cost anything. They ask for payment on a sliding scale according to income, but if you qualify, it's free. Your records MHMR will be transferred to the doctor (after signing a statement) and go from there. If no MHMR program in your area, your doctor can tell of county assistance programs, charities, and even some churches have funds set aside for just such circumstances. There is always a waiting list to get into the MHMR program. Do this as soon as possible so that they are not out of medicines to all, or at least for too long. Get a 3 month supply requirements while you still have insurance to ensure that they are either waiting for a source to help the new ones. Be careful. By the way, your symptoms are not signs of infection, and an antibiotic will not help. I think the first person who answered most likely meant "antidepressant", not "antibiotics."
