Did you go to the launch party at MAC for the Hello Kitty Color Collection?
What was yours like?
My sisters went to the one at Valley Fair in San Jose, CA. I didn’t go inside with them but they told me they served free drinks and orderbs. The launch started at 7:00 and we got there at around 8:20. The line was very long. It even wen’t outside the mall. I walked around the mall and just waited for them until the mall closed at 9:30. However, there were still tons of people inside the MAC store checkin’ out the new products. Some people even got to take home the Hello Kitty balloons from the store. My sisters take VERY LONG to shop so I just sat down and watched “Superbad” on my ipod.
It was almost 11:00 when we left the mall and started walking back to the car. One of my sisters regretted not buying the Hello Kitty cup with the brushes because she spent all of her money. She said it was $49 so I lended her $60 because I told her that these Hello Kitty products are exclusive and once they’re gone…you can’t buy them anymore. We walked back to the mall and the doors wouldn’t open. The only way we could get in was if someone walked out from the motion dectecting sliding door. Then we saw a custodian, so my sister was knocking on the door, urging him to open the door. But he just ignored us. So my sister called her friend who was working at the MAC store and asked if he could come out real quick to help us get in the mall. But he couldn’t because he couldn’t leave the Cash Register.
So I took matters into my own hands. I just slid the door open myself and my sister was so happy to get in. She bought the cup with the brushes and she was lucky because there was only one customer left in the store.
That’s pretty much how it all went down. It was pretty crazy and I was glad to see my sisters full of joy as we left the mall. We even missed our exit on the highway because they were super excited. lol
