Is there a trick to get the cabinet to close the doors of ikea striaght?
I recently purchased a set of Ikea cabinets Magik. I have it all mounted, Doors and … give a little. The surface area less than the bottom, what a hit the other if you are closing while the other is closed. How I can fix this? The instructions do not show how to solve this specific problem, it only shows how to set a couple of other things not affect the camber. Any ideas?
In exchange for the low price of Ikea, you get something that was done at the factory very, very quickly. As such, the holes drilled are known to be slightly oblique. Am I correct in assuming these were holes drilled in the just-insert the screws? If so, I would contact the store and ask about this. However, if this is something that has to actually measure and drill Your Own holes, that's a much more thorny issue that I can not address. By the way, if you're looking for good library open shelves, I love your line of Ivar. After five years of holding heavist some of my books and boxes of manuscripts, Solid Wood shelves have no bending. Excellent quality and inexpensive.
