I want to repaint my Room Table legs and chairs. What kind of paint should I use?
The table with wooden board with green legs / Base and green chairs with a cream colored seat cushion. I want to paint black to go with the new mirror I just bought for the wall. What kind of paint should I used in Wood Furniture?
I would definitely recommend priming. you should use a latex primer sealer designed to adhere to shiny surfaces. then paint with an interior latex paint in the finish of your choice. I would suggest a semi-gloss to give you a better or more durable finish. I would not recommend the use of oil as they are becoming very expensive, and many regions will be one required by the EPA to stop selling in the next two years. Also, try to obtain a premix black. do not let the tone of black paint store. if the store does not have to go to black and on the platform, go to another store. if mix it, custom paint are as well. I would apply a couple coats of paint and cover it with a lacquer / varnish. this type of product yellow over time. will more yellow, and cloudy over time. if you must clear coat, using latex polyurethane. will remain unclear. I would say: First: Benjamin Moore Fresh Start Every weekend 023-00 primer finish: Benjamin Moore Ironclad Metal and Wood 363-80 latex clear nail polish (if you must): Benjamin Moore Stays transparent polyurethane Latex
