cutting Polymer Clay "canes"?
I tried to make rolls of polymer clay and when I tried to slice Smush is below. How do I cut to maintain a pleasant and round and not spoil the pattern on the inside. Besides, I make holes in the wire Pearl immediately or let them sit out a few hours before making the holes? Thanks for any advice!
Heat and cold clay is soft clay is difficult, so you need to put in the fridge for a couple of hours before cutting and then use a very sharp knife – the blade which are sold in craft stores specifically for the clay court is the best. You should also cool the ball before making holes so that the clay is hard and the ball will not change its shape. Then bake. I often use metal beads turkey chop the holes, then sign out on the socket while baking so I'm sure the holes are open, but many people prefer larger holes that the laces make turkey.

Slow Cooker Recipes – Volume 3
In previous volumes of Slow Cooker Recipes we have covered savory dishes and desserts made via a crock pot. This volume features terrific recipes for slow cooker beverages. Mulled cider, fruit punch, and hot chocolate are just a few of the great recipes included in this article. I hope you enjoy them!
Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
3 cups of dry milk powder
1 cup of powdered sugar
3/4 cup of cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup of chocolate syrup
1/2 cup of powdered creamer (nondairy)
7 cups of water
Marshmallows and candy canes
Directions:
In a slow cooker, mix together the dry milk powder, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla, chocolate syrup, and creamer. Stir well with while gradually adding the water. Put the lid on the slow cooker and set to a low heat. Cook for a total of four hours, stirring once after the first two hours. Stir well just before serving, then pour into mugs with marshmallows and candy canes for stirring.
Mulled Apple Cider
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of light brown sugar
2 quarts of apple cider
1 tsp whole allspice
1 1/2 tsp whole cloves
3 whole cinnamon sticks
2 large oranges (sliced)
Directions:
Put the apple cider, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, allspice, cloves, and oranges into the slow cooker. Stir well until the brown sugar has dissolved. Cover the crock pot and cook on a low heat setting for about three or four hours. Be sure to strain the spices before serving.
Spiced Cherry Cider
Ingredients:
3 1/2 quarts of apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
2 (3-oz) packages of cherry-flavored gelatin
Directions:
Pour the apple cider into the slow cooker. Add the cinnamons sticks and cover. Set to a high heat and cook for three hours. Stir the mixture while adding the cherry gelatin. Cook for another hour so the gelatin can dissolve. Keep the cider warm on a low heat and stir well before serving.
Warmed Fruit Punch
Ingredients:
8 cups of water
1 (6-oz) can of frozen lemonade concentrate (thawed)
1 (12-oz) can of frozen cranberry-raspberry juice concentrate (thawed)
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 tsp whole allspice
4 cinnamon sticks
1/4 tsp whole cloves
Directions:
Pour the water, thawed lemonade and cranberry raspberry juices, sugar, allspice, cinnamon sticks, and cloves into the slow cooker. If you like, you can put the spices into a cheesecloth before placing it in the slow cooker, otherwise you will need to strain the spices before serving. Cover the slow cooker and cook on a high heat for three hours. Reduce the heat to a low setting. Remove the spices if they weren’t bound in cheesecloth. Keep warm and serve directly from the slow cooker.
Wassail
Ingredients:
6 cups of apple juice
6 cups of cranberry juice
6 cups of orange juice
6 cups of lemonade
1 cup of brown sugar
2 cups of water
4 cinnamon sticks
1 orange (sliced)
1 tsp whole cloves
1 tbsp Angostura bitters
2 cups rum extract
Directions:
Pour the apple juice, orange juice, lemonade, cranberry juice, water, cinnamon sticks, orange slices, sugar, cloves, and Angostura bitters into the slow cooker. Set to a low heat setting and cook for about seven hours. Add the rum extract just before serving. Remove the cloves, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks before serving.
