She is about 5 cm high and seems to be what looks like a christening dress with bonnet.
first is old or new or newer … whether new or newer could be anything _ _ Company … I do not think the markings to be old
The Bobblehead Doll – a cultural icon
The Toy Doll is a type of doll with the head (which is often large compared to your body) attached to his body by a spring, so taking advantage of the wrist will cause the head to wobble. This type of doll is also known as a 'doll floating head ',' wobbler ', or' Nodder. These dolls can be traced back to ancient Japan and China, where they were made with flexible bamboo strips instead of springs. dolls today are direct descendants of German nodders "dating from the late 18th century, which were made of ceramic or bisque, with a height range of about 6-8 inches. These dolls were very popular in America until around 1930, when interest in them began to fade.
Modern dolls doll first appeared in the 1950s, and initially made of paper mache, and then ceramic. Despite dolls ceramics were very popular, they were quite expensive, and were considered mainly collectors' items. Eventually, however, manufacturers began making dolls plastic, allowing for a cheaper manufacturing process, making the dolls more affordable.
Early dolls were made for resemble animals and popular cultural characters, and were often used as advertising icons and automobile accessories (like a doll was very popular of the dashboard hula "girl). Around 1960 baseball cardboard dolls made in Japan-mache" began to be imported in the USA. These early works were generic figures representing teams and their pets, rather than individual players. Typically, the dolls of all computers that have look the same, except that wears the uniform for the task force represented. During this time there were some dolls made to represent some of the most famous players of the time, but they differed from their respective team dolls only by the uniforms they wore. Unfortunately, few of these papier-mache dolls have survived without some type of damage (usually cracking or chipping), although those who have survived in good condition are valuable collector's items now.
In the decade 1970, dolls were made of ceramic materials, and became popular in other sports as well as for popular cartoon characters and cultural. However, the mid-1970s, interest in the dolls had become extinct, and very few new dolls were made for nearly two decades, when it came to be popular again.
In the 1990s, the dolls began to be made of plastic, which greatly reduced cost, and facilitated the many variations of dolls to represent specific cultural values and other notables. After 2000, many variations of the dolls began to appear, and a number of companies started to offer dolls that could be adapted to the specifications of buyers. Modern dolls that represent specific individuals are much like people, even including such things as headbands, scars, tattoos and hairstyles.
The greatest diversity of the dolls, and their reduction cost, have, once again, made them a very popular topic and have rekindled interest in collecting them. Today doll dolls have become an integral part of our culture. They really have become one of the most recognizable icons of the cultural world.
