Miniature Daschund and the Parrot …?

My family just got a Quaker Parrot week one and we had a Daschund for almost two years. The dog will not leave the bird alone. She is always looking at the bird. How I can get it (in a non-violent) to leave the bird alone?

Oh, honey, PLEASE not take any chances with his Quaker and Dachshund. I own a Quaker-unfortunately my second. My first Quaker was killed by my dog more aggressive game sausage. My grandson (2 yrs. Age) accidentally my Quaker cage door open. As soon as the little thing flew to the plant, which died instantly. Please remember that the breed originated Dachshund hunt badgers, foxes and rabbits. Hunters are extremely vicious little. I currently own six Dachshunds (I am a breeder) and often squirrells are the baby kittens, lizards, frogs, turtles, opposoms, and a variety of dead birds in my garden. I have no more than a Dachshund that appears have no interest in killing. She was a puppy I bought for my mom to take nine years ago. Costume Cassie (dog mom) house three years ago after mother died. Cassie is a pouter. She simply gives a curious sniff, swell like a toad, and angry with disgust at the sight / sniff of a new creature. However, despite that does not present the usual features of most Daschunds, I do not take any risks. I have a female older than the other puppies even kill females if she has the chance. I crate my dogs when I have my Quaker out of his cage. Love your Quaker and love your ……… Dachshund separately. My best to you and your creatures.
